Distractors

True/false, modified true/false, yes/no, multiple choice, and multiple response questions allow for distractor information for each answer choice. These distractors might be used to provide additional data for adaptive testing.

To create distractors:

1. Edit the question for which you want to create distractors.

2. Click the Extra tab.

3. In the Distractors section, click the Edit link for the first answer choice.

4. Enter the distractor text and click Update.

5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for each answer choice.

6. Click OK to record your changes.
