True/false, modified true/false, yes/no, multiple choice, and multiple response questions allow for customized feedback based on student responses to test questions. For example...

Q: What is 6 + 2?
  a.  3
  b.  4
  c.  8
  d.  12

Feedback a: Are you using division instead of addition?
Feedback b: Are you using subtraction instead of addition?
Feedback c: You are correct!
Feedback d: Are you using multiplication instead of addition?

To create question feedback:

1. Edit the question for which you want to create feedback.

2. Click the Extra tab.

3. (Optional) In the Feedback section, click the Use rich text check box if you want to include rich text formatting such as bold, italics, etc. in your feedback.

4. Click the Edit link for the first answer choice.

5. Enter the feedback text and click Update.

6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for each answer choice.

7. Click OK to record your changes.
