When you choose the Build a test with questions selected by specific question information (such as state standards or difficulty level) from existing question sets and/or tests option in the new test wizard, you will be asked to choose a question information field. Once you choose a field, you will be presented with a table that lists all option for that field and how many questions for each of those options are available.
To choose a question information field, select an option from the Question info drop-down list.
To limit your test to a specific question type, choose a question type from the Question type drop-down list.
To select questions, click the Edit link next to the desired question information field and enter the number of questions you want to include on your test in the Number Selected column. Then click the Update link. Repeat this step as desired to select questions for your test.
Click Clear to clear any selections you have already made, resetting all values to 0.
Notes:
The availability of available question information in publisher-provided content varies by product. Some or all question information fields may not contain any data. Contact your content provider for more information.
Editing the Number Selected column will reduce the number of available questions listed in the Number Remaining column. Because some individual questions have multiple entries (e.g., a question is correlated to three different state standards), it is possible that the number remaining will decrease in multiple rows when the number selected is edited for one row.
Depending on how many question sets/tests were chosen from which to select questions, it may take a while to populate the list when you change the Question info or Question type setting.
