Click the Create a new test link in the editor pane or select New Test from the Options drop-down menu in the tests pane.
Enter a test title.
Click to select a location for the test. You can choose an existing folder or create a new one by clicking New Folder.

If you want the wizard to randomly choose questions from selected question sets/tests based on question type (e.g., multiple choice, essay), choose the Build a test with questions selected by question type option.
If you want the wizard to randomly choose questions from selected question sets/tests based on question information (e.g., difficulty level, state standards), choose the Build a test with questions selected by specific question information option.
If you want to select specific questions for your test, choose the Build an empty test option. Then add questions to your test.
Click to expand to the folders that contain the questions you want to include on your test. Depending on how many question sets/tests you choose, it may take a while to populate the list.
If necessary, select one or more question languages and click Next.
Select the number of questions to include on the test based on question type or question information and click Next. The wizard allows for a maximum of 300 questions on a test.
Review the information on the summary screen. Click Finish to build your test and open it in the editor pane, or click Back to change your selections.
Once you have created your test, you can print it or assign it as an online test to your students. To assign a test to your students, switch to the Classes and Assignments component.
