Open a test or question set by dragging it to the editor pane.
Click the 
button or select Organize by Question
Type from the Test
or Set menu.
When the Organize by Question Type option is enabled, questions are displayed in groups based on question type such as true/false and multiple choice. If this options is disabled, questions may be mixed (a true/false question followed by a multiple choice question followed by another true/false question).
To toggle the Organize by Question Type setting:
Open a test or question set by dragging it to the editor pane.
Click the
button or select Organize by Question
Type from the Test
or Set menu.
Notes:
When questions are organized by type, dragging and dropping to reorder questions is limited to within each question type group.
When questions are organized by type, the scramble option will scramble the question order within each question type group.
When questions are organized by type, a single preface will appear more than once on the test or question set if questions of different types are attached to that preface.
