Sort

Use the Sort function to sort your questions based on question information such as difficulty level or state standard.

To sort questions:

1. Open a test or question set.

2. Choose the Sort option from the Test or Set menu.

3. Use the Sort by drop-down menu to select the question information you want to sort by. For example, you may want to sort by Difficulty, putting the easiest questions at the beginning and the most difficult questions at the end.

4. A list of values for the selected question information field appears. Drag and drop the values in the order you want your questions sorted. For example, you could drag the Easy difficulty to the top, Medium to the middle, and Hard to the bottom to sort your questions by difficulty from easiest to most difficult.

5. If you want to sort the question information alphabetically/numerically, click to sort the information ascending or to sort it descending.

6. Click OK. Your questions will now appear in your chosen order based on the question information.

Notes:

• The Sort function is not available if the Organize by Question Type option is enabled.

• The Sort function is not available if your questions do not contain any question information.
