Multiple Choice
A multiple choice question is a question for which students must identify the one correct answer from the list of choices provided.
To create/edit a multiple choice question:

Edit an existing multiple choice question or click the New Question button
and choose Multiple Choice.

Enter a question Title.
Note: When creating a new question, if you do not enter a question Title, it will auto-populate with the stem of the question when you click OK. If you do not want the Title to auto-populate for new questions, deselect the Automatically populate question titles option in your profile. -
Enter the question content in the word processor window.

Enter the answer choices in the table provided.

If necessary, edit the number of answer choices and columns using the Number of choices and Number of columns options.

Select the correct answer from the Answer drop-down list.

Select the appropriate scramble option from the Scramble capable drop-down list.

All: If this option is selected, all answer choices for this question will be scrambled if the instructor chooses to scramble the test.

None: If this option is selected, no answer choices for this question will be scrambled if the instructor chooses to scramble the test.

A-?: If this option is selected, some but not all answer choices for this question will be scrambled if the instructor chooses to scramble the test. For example, choose A-C if choice D is "none of the above." This will allow the first 3 choices to be scrambled while maintaining choice D.

(Optional) Enter a Points value.

(Optional) Click the Rationale tab to enter the reasoning behind the question or detailed information on the solution.

(Optional) Click the Info tab to enter additional question information.

If the question is connected to a table, picture, or other shared information, select a preface from the Preface drop-down list.

Click Info and Objectives to enter question information such as difficulty levels, references, and standards.

Select the Electronic only or Print only option to limit the question to only web or printed tests.

(Optional) Click the Extra tab to enter answer-choice specific feedback and distractor information.

Click OK to record the question.
